A scripted story following Abel, our young female protagonist, as she escapes her strict Mormon upbringing and tragedy to pursue music.  As she strives to share her talent with the world, Abel clashes with the trauma and insecurities that threaten to sabotage her dreams.  The Good Hurt chronicles her band of the same name and touches on all the ways our lives are ripped open by the audacity of pursuing our passion,  juxtaposed against the fear that we’ll never make it and die with deathbed regrets. The realm where impossibility confronts possibility and the boldness to stride forward with wavering faith is what we affectionately term ‘The Good Hurt’ .
