Brother and sister, Cain and Abelina (Abel), carry the weight of a haunting past. Their friend Jesse tunes her guitar with a Berklee education and a street-smart hustle while Miah seems content in the passenger seat of life. They come together as The Good Hurt. The best band no one’s ever heard of because let’s face it - talent is not a guarantee of success. So we discover the band, scraping by in the City of Angels.
Then fate takes the stage. A single, serendipitous night at The Roxy has them opening for "The Lost Angels," a band once touched by the gods, now fallen. Our young heroes, their notes filled with yearning, captivate the crowd, however, it’s Abel, our firebrand, who steals the limelight by punching out frontman Trent Angel in an altercation that then goes viral.

Eyes, and more importantly - ears turn towards The Good Hurt as they take the first steps in becoming rockstars.

Guided by record exec Janelle Estrada, our band stands on the precipice. Will they soar? Or will they plummet, wings melted by the supernova?
