1. THE DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES

Cain, Abel, Jeremiah, and Jesse find themselves on the cusp of destiny. By a twist of fate, they secure a gig at The Roxy, and Cain surrenders his day job for the limelight. A twist: they're opening for the legendary Lost Angels. Drum set stolen, they deliver a mesmerizing performance, catching the eye of Zenith's Janelle Estrada. Yet, as the sun sets, Abel steps out of prison—her punch to Trent Angel at the afterparty now a viral myth.

2. THE PRO CHOICE

In a whirlwind of courting and caviar, the band is wooed by labels aplenty. All the while, Janelle, faces a crossroads. Her gut says "Go," but Zenith says "No." She gambles it all, leaving Zenith's citadel for a shot at making it on her own. Real Jerry McGuire moment. Back in their shitty apartment, Janelle delivers a speech—not of power, but of soul—saying simply, "You get me."

3.  DISENCHANTMENT

In Miah's café, ink meets paper—Janelle and the band are bound. She takes their imperfect songs to Lucas, a critic yet a catalyst. He begrudgingly agrees to shepherd their raw talent on tour. Meanwhile, in their apartment, Cain snaps Abel back from a haunting reverie, pills forced and reality anchored. And so, Lucas, married and with kids, sets off—Janelle's gamble, the band's lifeline.

4. POPPING THE CHERRY

Decisions clash over a single—Janelle and Lucas yield, only for the band's pick to falter. Lessons beckon. A trust-building sojourn unfolds, alchemy by Lucas, and the song finds its groove. In Austin, beneath dim bar lights, fans gather. Cain's kindness stirs strife with Kaylin, Miah stumbles in the spotlight, and Janelle, far from the stage, navigates home where a teen son awaits.

5. SURPRISE - YOU'RE FUCKED

EP ready, tour plans unfold in less glamour than hoped—a humble van, not a limo. Janelle schools them on the uphill fame battle. Fans grow, as do troubles: Amber's watchful eye and Miah's cocaine slide, Lucas's home life frays. A Texas gig hits too close for Abel; old wounds reopen, drinks flow, tempers ignite, and Janelle learns of Abel’s haunted past.

6.  SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST

Chart ascends to #3, tour bus upgrades, and a main stage at SXSW—courtesy of Janelle's savvy. Love blooms for Abel, while Cain's world unravels in betrayal. The band coalesces into a family, disabusing Kaitlyn of her cynical assumptions. Trent reappears, sober and questioning, crossing paths with Janelle and a son he suspects might be his own.

7.  THE WRITE-UP

Rolling Stone brands them a letdown post-SXSW. Cain's heart weighs Kaylin's apology; Abel's shattered by Zack's rejection. Miah, severed from Amber, leads the band to a night of abandon. Excess leaves Miah overdosed and the others questioning.

8.  1995

Set in 90’s Hollywood, Janelle shares her backstory and trauma, explaining to Abel why she leaked her story. The butterfly effect. The consequences of compromise, Janelle seeks to shield Abel from her path. The episode ends retracing the day of school shooting, putting the pieces together from flashbacks throughout the season. We see what Abel went through, shedding light on her inner turmoil.
